Looks like its been about 3 months since my last update...let me catch y'all up on whats been goin on.  Summer was good.  I stayed in Norman and worked full-time so I could save up some sweet moolah. Then  I pretty much blew it on concerts and going out with friends.  I had some firsts:  first motorcycle ride, first float trip, first mechanical bull ride, and first injury from a mechanical bull.  I moved into a house with Kamee and Kelli...thats going good. 

School has started...nursing school, that is.  So far I love it.  Its going to be a lot of work...hopefully i can stay on top of everything.  I'm still working part time at the office but now im working in the back.  The doctor is training me to nurse so i actually get to go in the rooms and help patients.  Its giving me a lot of good experience for when I start clinicals. 

A lot more has happened but im really tired and can't think right now.  I'll save my big story for next post.  It is entitled:  Casey and Kelli's brush with death at the Sooner Mall carnival.

The past couple of days have been very relaxing...yeah for three day weekends and no work!  I didn't really do much over the break but the Hank concert in Stillwater was fantastic.  It was an outdoor concert, the weather was perfect, and there were tons of people...a very interesting crowd.  I have to admit that im not the biggest fan of Hank...I know some of his stuff...like family tradition, all my rowdy friends, and the monday night football theme (which he sure enough sang)...but it was a good time anyways.  Me and Amber got backstage passes and watched the concert from the side of the stage so that was pretty fun.  Saturday I came back to Norman, took a 4 hour nap and watched The Aviator...kinda disappointing.  I didn't like it very much.

Sunday I went to the Paseo Arts Festival in OKC.  I had never been up there before but it was also a lot of fun.  The Paseo District doesn't really look like something that would be in Oklahoma...there's a lot of art galleries and shops.  It has a really cool vibe.  We looked around at all the vendors...i really wanted to buy some pottery but im broke at the moment. 

So work starts again tommorrow and im trying to get caught up on my laundry.  I still haven't unpacked from my CO trip. I think i might live out of my suitcase for a couple more days

So the Colorado trip was really good.  The wedding was fun but the 12 hour drive pretty much sucked...and we missed seeing the world's largest prarie dog AGAIN.  Jamie was a beautiful bride, the weather was perfect, and everything else went smoothly.  The coolest part though had to be the chocolate fountain...mmmm.   I just can't believe that I'm at the age where my friends are getting married.  That seems crazy to me...i guess 21 still seems so young.  Anyways, I have never seen her happier and i know they will both have a wonderful life together.  Congrats Jamie and Dale!

So....me and nubster are chillin.  I started working full time, and I find myself looking forward to my weekends more and more.  Romeo is gone.  He went home to Enid with his grandparents.  I leave Tuesday to go to Jamie's wedding in Colorado.  This is actually kelli, caseys laying her ass on the bed.  But she never updates anymore so I think i'll take over.  Anyway... Casey leaves me all weekend when she goes out and has fun...and finally on Sunday morning cooks me some eggs and toast, and they really weren't even good.  Sad story.  She's 21 and still cant make her favorite sister a decent meal.  Which brings me to my next point.  you'd think, me being the younger sister and all that casey would take care of me, ya, i dont think its gonna be that way.  I got here on friday night, got to the house, walked in her room, and there wasn't a bit of carpet showing.  sooo casey's in the bathroom getting ready to go out..and shes like ya, allison's coming over, and she hasn't seen my place yet and it is kinda messy.  so pretty much shes hinting for me to ask her if she wants me to pick up after her. and being me..i did. i think i'll be the one taking care of her.  pathetic... casey performed surgery on me yesterday tho...she cut skin off of me with nail clippers.  still kinda burns tho...i wonder if thats normal... any advice?

caseys going to hank williams jr at the end of the month, and im jealous.  i really need to find a way to get a fake id. 

anyway...back to the important person..me...i graduate in 9 days...i have 5 days of school left and then i really dont know what the hell im gonna do.  graduations  kinda sad.  so that means that i move of the rents house in 13 days! yay! then its off to the big town of norman. and living  with my sister, yet again...im signing off kids.. time to pack up

Thank god its Friday...not that my week was stressful but i really enjoy doing nothing at all for a couple of days.  Tommorrow I have my Nursing school orientation...at 8 o'clock in the morning...I guess i better get used to early mornings.

Yesterday i took Romeo to the dog park and my friend was also there with her new foster dog.  It's also 5 month old boston terrier.  She rescued it from an abusive home but it's really cute and sweet.  So...if any of you want or know someone who might want to give it a home, let me know.

Next weekend should be good times.  I'm moving into my new place on Friday...its gonna be so nice (i get the master bedroom with the huge closet :) then Saturday I'll be headed to the Wormy Dog for Shooter Jennings...sure to be a good time!
